Notton Village Hall Committee very kindly donated £750 to Wakefield RDA today. The money was donated with profits from the Notton Bonfire.
Pictured are rider Natalie with pony Holdsworth Sapphire, Wrda volunteers, Manager Carolyn and Alan the Notton Village Hall Chairman.
We are really grateful for the donation and will use the funds for much needed day to day running costs.

Thank you Asda and Asda
employees
The lads used their muscle to replace the old woodchip and worked hard to get
the job finished in 1 day. These areas look really smart now and the ponies are living in a dry, clean Corral.
We are very grateful to Asda for funding this project and thank them for their
continued support.

A team of employees from
They made a great job of painting our indoor school viewing area, kitchen and
toilet.
Some
of the team strimmed untidy branches away from the indoor school outside walls
and others trimmed the weeds around the outdoor school fence and gave the
picnic area some TLC.
Our
facilities look really smart now, Hammonds and First Direct did a fantastic job
and supplied all the paint & decorating equipment and gave us lovely
bird
boxes to put in the trees.
Riders
and regular volunteers have commented on our new smart appearance.
Thank you Hammonds & First Direct for your hard work

It was great to watch the entries in the two Freestyle classes. Some riders had worked out their test to music, others put some moves together without music. It was obvious that riders had spent a lot of time working out the routine and finding the right music to match the horses paces.
On Sunday all the tests looked fantastic and great fun; and I hope this will inspire other riders to try our Freestyle classes in future.
Thank you to everyone who came, your entry fees will help to keep our RDA group up and running & thank you to the volunteers who gave up their Sunday to help run this event.
Look out for our next competition in April 2009
