Wakefield Riding for the Disabled Association

Thank you to Wakefield Chantry Rotary Club, WMDC Neighbourhood Improvement Fund and Wakefield & District Health & Community Support Ltd for their grants and donations which enabled us to refurbish the facilities in the indoor school

We saw some lovely competitors yesterday at our dressage show. Thankyou to everyone that came, your entry fees help keep our Charity up and running.

Thankyou also to Julia and Carol for judging and our brilliant volunteers for running the event.

Information for Competitors

Times are available to download below.

The field will be open for parking for 4x4's and trailers. Horseboxes on the car park.

No need to declare just warm up in the outdoor school and be ready to be called in at your time.

If you need any help with mounting or loading or someone to call your test please ask one of our volunteers.

There will be a tuck shop selling crisps and chocolate and a hot drinks machine.

Saturday 31st May at Thornton House Farm

On the show day please follow the small orange RDA arrows to the show field, it is along the lane through the trees and straight onto the field as last time.

The regional committee are organising a raffle and a tuck shop with crisps, cakes and drinks to raise funds for the region.

Thank you to all the competitors that came to our event, we hope everyone enjoyed the competition, we had lots of lovely horses and riders with some achieving very high scores throughout all the classes.

The field will be open for parking for trailers & 4x4's, please reserve the hardstanding for lorries.

There will be a tuck shop for drinks, crisps and snacks.

Please work in, in the outdoor school and our volunteers will call you into the indoor school when it is time to ride your test.

If you need any help with anything, loading, mounting, having your test called, just ask a member of our team and we will be pleased to help.

If you are coming from the M1 J39, you may need to allow more time as Durkar Lane is closed and there is a diversion in place which takes you round past Asda.
