These training days are with various judges from across our region and are aimed at group 8 - 4 riders (though others may apply.) They will be an opportunity for riders to work in, in front a judge who will comment and give frequent marks for the horse’s way of going. Riders can then ride through various test movements or ride through a nominated test where again comments and marks will be given. You may find the answer to ‘how to get from a 6 to a 7’ or even ‘an 8!’
Riders are encouraged to ask questions throughout their session, as these are NOT typical lessons, but an excellent opportunity to get a an idea of what our judge’s are looking for. It is also an opportunity for those who may struggle with nerves when riding at competitions, under the watchful eye of a judge, to confront their fears and feel more confident.
