Janet and Sarah had a surprise on Thursday evening when Staff, Volunteers, Dougal and Trustees presented them with the RDA Over & Above Award. Janet also received the Bramble Trophy for her Outstanding Contribution to Wakefield RDA.

Janet and Sarah have been volunteer group instructors here for as long as I can remember and their riders and volunteers enjoy their fun Thursday Evening lessons every week. They teach all year round and even continue on those horrible winter nights when it's cold and dark and most people are tucked up warm at home. Over the years they have encouraged their riders to achieve RDA Proficiency Tests, compete in Dressage and Countryside Challenge competitions and participate in sponsored rides.

Thank you Janet and Sarah for all your hard work, the flowers and awards are just a small way of showing our appreciation.
