Oliver had a brilliant time at the RDA National Championships last weekend. He rode Hillbro' Crispin owned by Elaine Goodall from Otley RDA.
Oliver scored 66.11% in his Championship Dressage test and finished in 8th place - he was awarded a Highly Commended rosette.
He rode his Freestyle walk/trot test in torrential rain - at one point he couldn't see the other end of the arena through the rain! However, he rode really well and finished in 4th place with 69%.
Oliver also won first prize in the Arts & Crafts Sculpture Competition (for the 3rd year running).
Huge thanks go to Sarah and Leanne for helping Oliver in the run-up to the competition as well as on the day itself

The two photos below show Oliver at the end of his Dressage test and in the warm-up arena just before the Freestyle.
Well done Oliver from all the instructors, and
Thank you Otley group for lending Oliver your lovely pony
No that's dedication in that rain. Well done to instuctors and riders!
