Wakefield RDA are looking to appoint a

Volunteer Co-ordinator/Mentor

This is a new role at Wakefield RDA which is being supported by Sport England and RDA National to increase participation within RDA Groups.

This is a voluntary position for 1 year at 16 hours per week

Travel Expenses can be claimed

 

Outline of the role:

• Show potential new volunteers around the group on an initial visit, providing information and supplying paperwork
• Tracking paperwork i.e volunteer forms and green cards
• Following up references and paperwork for CRB checks
• Set up a Mentor support scheme/supervision meetings for volunteers
• Introduce social events for volunteers
• Volunteer clothing scheme
• Co-ordinate fundraising activities alongside volunteers

 

Wakefield Rda would encourage the Volunteer Co-ordinator to participate in any relevant training courses to enrich this position both for their own personal growth and that of the Charity.
