Congratulations Team Wrda. Lots of rosettes won at the RDA National Championships at Hartpury last weekend. 1st for Billy in the freestyle dressage, 1st for Oliver in the Arts and Crafts and 1st for Cara in the Tack and Turnout Class. Lots of other placings in the classes for Oliver, Cara, Billy, Mark and Debbie.

Thank you to the many sponsors for providing us with a horse box and funding to make this trip possible.

Wakefield College Performing Arts & Music Tutors came to do their Staff Development day last Monday. Thank you to Craig, Michelle, Marie & Maria for helping the Oakfield riders and with horse care.

 

 

Congratulations to Cara, Debbie, Oliver, Billy and Mark who qualified for the National Championships at our Regionals on 1st June.  They will be competing at Hartpury College, Gloucester on Saturday and Sunday, 13th & 14th July.

We are delighted to have receive a grant from Wakefield Rural Neighbourhood Policing Team. We received £500 from the Proceeds of Crime 'pot'

It will help pay for the horses hay and haylage for the coming year

We had a lovely day at the Pennine Summer Fair on Saturday

Well Done Gill, Lauren and James for running the stalls, we raised £161.50

It was great to see Shelby and Family at the Fair, their plant sale this year raised a massive £400 which they generously donated to our Charity.

 

Wakefield RDA would like to thank Janet Senior for very kindly collecting funds from her friends and colleagues to help get Oliver, Amber and the RDA team to the Nationals.
