Wakefield Riding for the Disabled Association

We are delighted that TK Maxx have donated £1500 to Wakefield RDA.

As a TK Maxx employee, Rosie Loftus nominated our charity for a Community Award as her sister Dora enjoys riding at our group on Monday evenings.

Pictured above are Rosie handing the cheque over to instructor Janet, Dora sat on Ben in the centre of the picture along with ponies, riders and volunteers from the Monday evening sessions.

The money will go towards a few different items including new woodchip for the Corrals, outdoor rugs for the ponies and some new riding hats.

Thank you to all the competitors, your entry fees and tuck shop money help keep our group up and running.

Well done to Angela Wilson and Hector who get the prize for the furthest travelled competitors, all the way from Bolton! We were delighted to see they won two rosettes.

Thank you to our fab judge Viv and writer David for spending all day with us and giving such encouraging comments to riders.

Big thank you to our volunteers Carol, Sue, James, Bev, Chris and Marion who gave up their Sunday to help with the competition and looking after the RDA ponies & yard.

General Info.

The field will be open for parking 4x4's & trailers.

Lorries please park on the main car park.

No need to declare

Please work in, in the outdoor school and a steward will call you in at your time.

There will be a small tuck shop available for crisps and chocolate and hot drinks dispensed from the coffee machine.
