The course is open between 9:30am and 10:30am to walk on foot, then open to competitors to ride between 10:30am and 3pm. There are no allotted times for Countryside Challenge, please present yourselves to the judges at the start of the course at a convenient time. Riders will wear a number this year, please collect it from the organisers before starting the course.
General Information
Please be aware the organisers will be checking and tagging riding hats, all riders must go to the prize giving area before they compete to have their riding hat checked. Hats that are not to current standard can not be used at this competition. All participants must wear proper protective headwear which conforms to the current standards - PAS015 (1998 or 2011) with BSI Kitemark; ASTM F1163 with SEI kitemark; SNELL E2001 and VG1.
If you are hoping to qualify for, and attend the National Championships please ensure your horses vaccinations are correct and up to date. You will find further information on the RDA website or from your vet. Hartpury College WILL turn horses away from the site if your vaccinations are not up to date.
There will be a tuck shop and raffle at our event and you are advised to bring camping chairs as there is limited seating at this venue.
