Congratulations to 7 pupils from Highfield School who completed their RDA/ASDAN Towards Independence Award. The pupils attended a 10 week course in Riding & Horse Care and all will receive a Certificate of Achievement for completing the training. The pupils (and staff) have learned new skills, enjoyed working outdoors with the horses, built wonderful portfolio's and have had great fun.
The pilot course was run with support from Wakefield Healthy Schools programme.
We are looking forward to working with the next Highfield group after Christmas.
