thanks for the advice i don't even know yet if i would be ready to do a dressage competition as i have not yet got a grip on turning my feet in while i am riding and putting my heels down as well...
I would use rising trot Danielle, its easier for you and the horse. Dressage tests are ridden from a sheet of school manoevers, so if it says trot or canter you need to do it! otherwise you'll lose marks
ive been woundering for a long time now do you HAVE to do a sitting down trot for dressage or can you do a rising trot? and can you also just walk the entire dressage course or do you have to trot and canter?
even though i would obviously love to compete since i am thinking about it :)...
